Welcome to Cathay Bank. It is our pleasure to welcome you as a customer to our growing bank. Your Nevada National Bank ("NNB") accounts and services are now Cathay Bank accounts and services.
At Cathay Bank, you will have access to more great products and receive the same high level of service you are accustomed to. This transition occurred on June 17, 2013. Business will continue as usual while we work on the integration process. We do not expect this transition to inconvenience you and we appreciate your continued business. Your current NNB accounts and services, including your account numbers, will stay the same. You can continue to use your existing debit cards, checks and deposit slips, and your online banking information will remain the same. You will also receive your statements as you did before. You will notice that the Cathay Bank logo and name will be reflected on your statements, web sites, new check orders, and debit cards.
We are expecting to complete the full integration by October 2013. At that time, you will be able to enjoy the full suite of all our Cathay Bank products and services. Unfortunately, you will not have access to the same Cathay Bank products and services that are in the other states for the time being. In the next few months, you will be provided with additional information regarding the transition to our Cathay Bank platform. We will keep you apprised of any key information that may affect you as we move through this process.
If you have deposits in both Nevada National Bank and Cathay Bank before June 17, 2013 and the total of such deposits exceeded $250,000, separate FDIC insurance coverage will be maintained for six months, or until December 17, 2013. If you had a CD issued by Nevada National Bank, your separate insurance coverage will be maintained until maturity. Please refer to the following chart:
